My name is Matt and this is my blog.

I'm designing a vocational program for adults with developmental disabilities at a non-profit in Plano and my wife teaches at a daycare in Las Colinas.

I enjoy reading, writing, and thinking.
I run. A lot. Like Forrest, only I shave.

    For context, you would need to scroll down to read the eleventh resolution…this past week, virtually all of my devotions have been centered around pride…and perhaps, they always should be. We must constantly seek to slay all things related to pride in our lives…jobs, family, friends, church, etc. If anything begins to raise up as pride…humble yourself. In my case, the more I study…the more I learn…and as I begin to take pride in that, God will show how much more I do not know. There is so much I do not know…even though this blog is called, “iamsureofthis” the only thing I’m sure of is that Christ is going to finish His work in me. But even that sometimes is hard to believe, O Lord…help my unbelief.
